'Race Fest for Flood Relief' at Nashville Superspeedway on June 5
Fans coming to Nashville Superspeedway on June 5 for the "Federated Auto Parts 300" NASCAR Nationwide Series race will be able to attend the "Race Fest for Flood Relief." This event is an exclusive autograph session and auction featuring a number of series regulars while directly helping those in need as a result of the recent Nashville-area floods.
A NASCAR Nationwide Series driver autograph session is scheduled from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 at the Nationwide Insurance display in the Expo area located outside of Gate 3 at the Superspeedway. Fans attending the autograph session will be asked to make a canned food or monetary donation at the track to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in order to receive admission to the autograph session. A limited number of wristbands will be issued in advance of the autograph session beginning at 11 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
As of June 1, participants in the autograph session were slated to include: Sam Bass, Robert Richardson Jr., Trevor Bayne, Mat DiBenedetto, Brad Coleman, Shelby Howard, Scott Lagasse Jr., Scott Wimmer, Michael Annett, Reed Sorenson, Eric McClure, Jason Leffler, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Brian Scott, Josh Wish, Coleman Pressley, Scott Riggs, Justin Allgaierm, Willie Allen, Tayler Malsam, Mike Bliss and Tony Raines.
Race fans will also have the opportunity at the autograph session to bid on several autographed NASCAR items during a silent auction to be held at the Nationwide Insurance display. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Fans can browse the items up for auction here.
Fans unable to attend the "Race Fest for Flood Relief" can still support the Second Harvest Food Bank by dropping canned goods in collection bins located at the entrance gates to the main grandstands.
