The City of Lebanon's annual residential spring cleanup will begin Monday, April 5 and continue through Friday, April 30.

Citizens are reminded to place items near the curb or next to - but not in - the roadside ditch.

The Lebanon Street Department attempts to run daily routes, serving all citizens with four pickups during the month of April. This schedule is subject to change due to weather and/or heavy volumes. Please place all small and loose items in trash bags, and be sure to separate our wood and metal. Please note that the city cannot pick up chemicals, paint, wet batteries, mattresses, box springs, carpet or carpet padding. If you have any questions, please contact the City of Lebanon Street Department at 615-444-0825, ext. 121 or 127.

Chipper Service

Please be reminded that residential chipper service is now on a monthly schedule. The city has been divided into two zones. Zone 1 pickup is the first week of each month, and Zone 2 pickup is the third week of each month. If you are not sure of your zone, please contact the City Street Department at 615-444-0825, ext. 121 or the Commissioner of Public Works' office at 615-443-2824.

Please note that the chipper service is provided for the resident's routine disposal of limbs/brush six inches or less in diameter from wind damage, pruning/trimming of low-hanging limbs and shrubs, etc. Items should be placed out the weekend prior to your zone's pickup, and brush piles should not exceed 10' x 8' x 5' high.

Please be reminded that the City does not pick up root balls, stumps or logs. The City service is also not intended for tree-topping or the removal of limbs left by a private contractor.
