New Leash On Life's Pets of the Week

Meet Dutchess! She is such a stunning dog! This gorgeous Belgian Malinois mix is really a sight to see, especially when she's rolling around on her back for belly rubs (one of her favorite things). Dutchess may be an adult, but she sure knows how to play like a puppy, and she can't wait to find her perfect human playmate! Dutchess is a feisty girl, so with all her energy - the more time you can spend romping around with her, the better. And, we're sure she'll be great at learning new skills if you enroll her in the Good Dog training that is available with her adoption. Dutchess is an energetic girl who's just looking for someone special to share all of life's adventure's with, so if you could use a pal to join you on all of your jogs, walks, hikes and nights just chilling on the couch, come meet her at our adoption center today or call to find out more about her! (Pet ID #D10-072)
Willow is a petite (only weighs 7 pounds), year-old dilute tortie. Willow had the good fortune of finding her way to the home of a woman who loves animals, particularly cats! When Willow showed up on this woman's back deck, she was very skittish at first, but quickly warmed up. Willow's rescuer noticed Willow had a collar, but it was so tight around this little one's neck that it had to be cut off! As this woman already had many cats of her own, sadly she could not keep Willow permanently, but she took Willow in and had her spayed and vaccinated. Willow is very affectionate, loves to rub against you and look at you with her big, soulful eyes. She will roll on her back so you can rub her tummy. She has not been around children or dogs but has been with a couple of cats and done well. Because she is petite, we would not suggest very young children who may be too rough with her. We don't know the journey Willow was forced to take before she showed up at this kind woman's home, but whatever her misfortunes were, they have not affected her sweet, loving personality. Willow will be a loving, loyal companion for many years. We also bet she has many adventures to share with that lucky person who adopts her. If you are interested in Willow, please contact Julie at 615-872-8756.
Meet Jesse! Are you lookin' for a low-rider? Jesse can help you out with that! This cutie has the stature of a Basset and the face of a Lab - think short little legs, golden-colored fur and floppy ears! He's a pretty easy-going little guy, too; he gets along great with kids and with other dogs. All Jesse really seems to want from the world is a little love and companionship. If you're looking for a little companionship, too, come meet Jesse at our adoption center today ... he'll show you that good things really DO come in smaller packages! (Pet ID #D10-053)
