Cumberland University is proud to offer a lecture series that is free and open to the public each semester. The 2nd Cup of Coffee Lecture Series offers the community multiple perspectives of liberal arts & sciences with each speaker. All events are held in the K-Room of Philips Dining Hall on the Cumberland University campus.

For the Tuesday, Feb. 9 lecture, we welcome author John Egerton, whose topic for discussion will be, "Why is the first Black President not from the South?"
